Meeting with representatives of the World Bank

A meeting was held at the State Fund for Support of Entrepreneurship Activities between the Deputy Executive Director of the Fund J. Buriev and the World Bank Senior Economist Mariana Lootty.

At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the effectiveness of the Fund’s financial assistance, the opportunities provided to entrepreneurs, and the priority tasks to be implemented in 2023-2024.

Representatives of the Fund informed about the guarantee and compensatory financial assists provided to small entrepreneurs, the procedure for their use, the terms (compensation is provided on the “2+1” principle).

Experts of the World Bank today recognized the importance of the Fund for ensuring socio-economic growth in the field, supporting small businesses and providing employment.

At the same time, the experts focused on the results of studying the impact on the business environment, improving the effectiveness of measures aimed at the development and development of small businesses by removing barriers for entrepreneurs, as well as introducing new types of services into practice.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to expand cooperation on the above issues.
