Meeting with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB)

A meeting with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (Bank) was held at the State Fund for Support of Entrepreneurship Activities (Fund).
The meeting was attended by PwC Executive Director Tapas Sanyal, Deputy Director Samik Mukherjee from the Bank, Deputy Executive Director Jasur Buriyev, Head of the Department of Economic Analysis and Work with Assets Kudrat Radjapov from the Fund and other officials.
The representatives of the Bank received information on the activities of the Fund, in particular, guarantee and compensation financial assistance for loans allocated by commercial banks to business entities and the “Entrepreneur” information system.
Also, they discussed the implementation of convenient and acceptable services for entrepreneurs by studying foreign experience in order to create new types of services, monitor and manage risks based on the recommendations given by international financial organizations.
In addition, representatives of the international network of PwC companies provided information on several key areas. These are the study of the financial market, the development of the private sector, and the management of state funds.
At the same time, the parties emphasized the need to create new jobs, a permanent source of income, and pay special attention to the entrepreneurship of young people and women by supporting micro and small business entities in the country.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to expand cooperation on the above-mentioned issues.
