Meeting with representatives of the DAMU Foundation for Entrepreneurship Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On June 26 of this year, a meeting was held between representatives of the State Fund for Support of Entrepreneurship Activities (Fund) and the Fund for the Development of Entrepreneurship (DAMU).

The meeting was attended by Head of Department Arsen Mustafin and specialist Aydos Akhmetov from DAMU, Head of Department of Economic Analysis and Assets Management Kudrat Radjapov and chief specialist Bakhodir Akhmedov from the Fund.

During the meeting, information was provided on the projects of the International Financial Institutions cooperating with the Fund and the activities of the Fund. In particular, it was noted that business entities are being supported by the Fund within the framework of the projects of these IFIs.

In addition, in order to improve the guarantee and compensation financial assistance provided by the Fund and to introduce new types of services, they focused on studying the experience of foreign countries, in particular DAMU, and applying it to the activities of the Fund.

Also, representatives of DAMU shared their experience in creating new types of services and involving more entrepreneurs through guarantee financial support.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to organize additional meetings, sign a Memorandum of Cooperation and visit the Head Office of DAMU to study on the spot in order to expand cooperation on the above issues.
